What happens when four creative individuals with far-flung global origins (Korean immigrants, working-class London, Catalan Spain and the Americas’ African diaspora) come together on a project about global language and just click?
What happens after they decide to enter a global competition for the core exhibit of the World Fair, and get the delightful news they’ve won the commission to design and realize the event’s most visible experience?
How do they structure a merger that respects their individual creative practices and long-standing business associations including with British design and media, Spanish museums and architecture, American cultural institutions and the New York-Paris axis of culture and high-end commerce?
They form Program Collective.
A unique entrepreneurial model: agile to enable the flow of work based between four global locations (Chicago, Paris, London and Barcelona). Sturdy to execute a multi-million dollar commissions on time and in budget. And with the combined insight to command invitations to conceptualize for high-profile exhibitions, site specific art and architecture interventions and innovative fusion spaces in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Asia.
Todd Palmer is proud to be a founding partner of Program Collective (recognized by Domus as “four `magicians’ of visual communication”) and a compatriot in the adventure of creative innovation across disciplines, continents and categories.
